LED: HELPING BABIES SLEEP

helping babies sleep

Imagine exhausted, sleepy, desperate to rest your droopy eyelids with a newborn crying in the next room. You have tried everything from diapers to food, diaper changing and balancing, and nothing will calm them down. Have you ever thought about trying LEDs to help your baby sleep? If not, here are some reasons why you should try it.
LED and suspension: helps set your newborn's schedule
LED bulbs have recently entered the hospital market to help maternity hospitals treat babies born with jaundice. Now, a lighting company with the name of The Lighting Science Group is creating LED lights for everyday consumers that can help your baby sleep. It's light, Sleepy Baby is a faint yellow light used to create a warm and relaxing environment to help calm tired babies and make them sleepy.
In an interview with the New York Times, Mariana Figuerio, a flashlight and research leader at the Lighting Research Center of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute said: “Lighting is no longer a ceiling fixture. It's about providing individualized light treatments to people. ”
Exposing yourself or your baby to bright, artificial light after the sun has set can suppress the sleep-inducing melatonin hormone, which makes you feel less tired and more restless than your baby. By using a light that can be dimmed to a softer and warmer tone at night, this will help your baby fall asleep at the right time.
The parents of young children were interviewed in the same article for the New York Times about the use of dimmed LED lights to help their children sleep. Susan Sheehan put a dimmed LED bulb in her son's room when her baby was five months old. Now her daughter wakes up less frequently at night, allowing Susan to fall asleep.
Chip Brian, the father of a four-year-old son, installed the soft LED light in his son's room since he was a very active child when bedtime arrived. Now your child will fall asleep and remain asleep until the morning!
